Scott brings to Palomar Ventures over twenty years of financial, strategic and operational management experience in the venture capital and media/entertainment industries.
Prior to joining Palomar in 2004, Scott spent five years as Chief Financial Officer at DynaFund Ventures, where he directed the firm's entire financial affairs while actively assisting its portfolio companies with their financial and operational issues. Scott also worked closely with the Managing Directors to determine the appropriate strategy and vision to support all investment decisions, including pre-investment due diligence, term sheet review, alternative deal structures and post-investment portfolio company monitoring.
Scott previously enjoyed four years with DreamWorks SKG and five years with The Walt Disney Company, where he held senior management positions in finance, planning and operations. Scott began his career as a Senior Valuation Analyst at Arthur Anderson & Co. for three years.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from the University of California at Los Angeles. Scott was recently selected to join The National Venture Capital Association’s CFO Task Force.
